Lunch Under the Last Sunshine: Camp Cooking in the Field

Rain was forecast, but it was still dry. Found a good spot, put up the tarp, and heated up lunch in the HeatsBox.
The HeatsBox did its job as always – food warm, no hassle. The tarp kept the wind off and gave some shade. That’s all you need for a decent break.
45 minutes later it started raining. Tarp down, back to work. This is the kind of field cooking that works perfectly for offroad adventures. If you want to see what a proper mountain restaurant meal looks like after a snowy drive, check out the Bergwelten Salwideli trip.
